This is a release we have been anticipating for a while, following on in the footsteps of the Vapor IX “Fast Forward ’02″ that we were introduced to a few weeks back. That version was released with plenty of positive reactions, but I feel this one is even more likely to attract player praise. The 2006 version is about as iconic as it gets, and Nike has done an impressive job of capturing that look while adding a modern feel. It is about as solid as you can get on the more sophisticated Vapor IX boot silo.

One of the more modern visuals that comes with the new version is a super shiny, chrome tongue. It delivers an extra fresh dynamic that sets them apart from any other Vapor X release to date.
