Obviously we are more than willing to work with you to try and meet your individual needs and situations! Please don’t hesitate to ask us questions concerning our sales policy. Some of this is just put here to protect you as a buyer and us as sellers from any unfortunate misunderstandings

Carl B’s Sales Information:

For the first time goat buyer, and others still learning about

goats, let us assure you that we will do our best to give you

as much help, advice and resources available to help you

care for your new friends! Just starting out

can seem overwhelming, but it is not that

difficult, and believe me, keeping goats is

much more rewarding than it is hard! If we

don’t have the best answer for something,

we will research it together and

find out what is the best answer.

You are welcome to make a

reservation for an unborn kid of

a planned breeding. I will put

your name on a waiting list, and

contact you when that kid is

born. No

deposit

required.

If you choose to purchase

a kid that is born, I will

need a non-refundable

deposit of 50% of the price to hold that

kid for you until weaning age (usually 8-10

weeks). Arrangements must be made to

pick up your kid(s) in a timely manner, or

additional boarding fees may be charged.

Carl B’s will be happy to pay for the regi-

stration of your new kid(s). Registration transfer fee will be the

responsibility of the buyer. Shipping charges, crates, health papers,

or other testing will be the responsibility of the buyer. A $20 gas charge will be added for a trip to the airport (100 mi. round trip) if applicable. All fees must be paid in full before the animal can be picked up or shipped. All goats are sold in a healthy condition, being vaccinated and wormed where necessary. We cannot be responsible for the animal after it leaves the farm due to circumstances out of our control. We can do our best to pick an animal that we feel has good conformation, but due to the nature of individual development and the nutrition and care an animal receives, we cannot guarantee that an animal will turn out a certain way.
