Six of the nine leading goal scorers at this World Cup agree that the Adidas adizero F50 is the boot for them!
What do James Rodriguez, Lionel Messi, Thomas Muller, Robin van Persie, Arjen Robben, and Karim Benzema all have in common?
Two things actually, they’re six of the?leading goal scorers at the ongoing World Cup, and they’re all wearing a pair of the Adidas adizero F50‘s (either Battle or Earth pack). I don’t think I’ve seen a World Cup, where?so many of the leading goal scorers are all wearing the exact same boot!
It’s been a banner couple of weeks for Adidas’ speed boot. Which have been on the feet of players who’ve combined to score just shy of 30% of total goals scored in the World Cup. But it’s not just goals where the F50?reigns supreme. If there’s an attacking statistical category the?F50 is leading it.
Near total offensive dominance for the adizero
As you can see above, Karim Benzema has the most shots on target with 19. James Rodriguez has been the breakout player so far?leading the golden boot standings with 5 goals. Lionel Messi has popped four goals and also put the ball into the danger zone 21 times. Finally, Arjen Robben has done 10 times so far what Arjen Robben is known for dribbling the ball into the opposition penalty area creating havoc.
The F50 has been far and away star performing boot of the World Cup, and it’ll be interesting if ?in 10 days time the Golden Boot will be awarded to an?F50 wearer like James Rodriguez or Thomas Muller, or perhaps a player with a customized pair of?F50‘s like Lionel Messi or perhaps Robin van Persie.
Find both F50 adiZero’s as well as the rest over at soccer.com.
Now it’s your turn. Do you think the F50 can keep up it’s rampant goal scoring form at the World Cup? Can James Rodriguez still hold on in the Golden Boot race? Leave a comment below or reach out to us on facebook or twitter.
Ever since their switch to the ¡°swoosh¡± in 2011 ¨Cwhich broke a 40-year old relationship with rivals adidas-, the French National Team has seen quite a revolution when it comes to their outfit. Now, ¡°Les Bleus¡± will be turning a little bit paler than usual as Nike has released a very interesting and ground-braking French away kit ahead of the 2013 international calendar.
The typical white away shirt is reinvented into a ¡°ice cool¡± tone with tricolore detail for the cuffs. Shorts and socks will follow the jersey¡¯s style, in pale blue and red-white-blue trim for what is sure to be an eye-catching display on the pitch.
As for the details, the polo collar and two tone badge add to the elegance of the design. The jersey will also feature the signature ¡°our differences bring us together¡± motto inside the collar as a nod to the diversity of French culture and their National Team.
According to Nike, this new design will be debuted by the French Female Football Team vs. Brazil on March 9. The men¡¯s team will follow on March 22 as the face Georgia for the 2014 World Cup Qualifiers.
You can order this new French Away Kit at SOCCER.COM, World Soccer Shop and other online retailers.
