adidas has followed up its recent launch of the Samba Pack with a whole new set of black colorways for its various silos and cleats.
The new adidas F50 adiZero has been given the much anticipated leather treatment, meaning you can now buy the speed cleat in both synthetic and leather uppers. The German manufacturer has released another colorway exclusive to the synthetic model though with a sleek looking black, blue, and white color palette. This is the third synthetic only colorway, joining the launch blue and orange ones.
Designed for the fastest players in the world, the new F50 should receive great on field support from some of the game¡¯s most decorated players. Gareth Bale, Lionel Messi, and Karim Benzema among others should all be in this new colorway moving forward.
The second edition of the adidas adiPure 11Pro was unveiled as part of the Samba Pack. Initially released in a bright purple colorway, adidas has gone back to the heritage silo¡¯s roots with this new black, white, and green paint job. The majority of the upper is a subtle black but in contrast, the green and white accents and laces offer some pop to the shoe, ensuring that whoever wears the cleats will be noticed on the field.
After a mass exodus away from the first adiPure 11Pro, the heritage silo appears to be regaining some of its once avid following as a number of players have been sporting the new Samba Pack colorway in recent weeks. Phillip Lahm, Frank Lampard, and Asier Illarremendi are some of these players flying the adiPure flag.
The latest colorway for the adidas Nitrocharge is the first of its kind not to have an accentuated EnergySling across the forefoot. Featuring the same color scheme as the adiPure 11Pro, the Nitrocharge is totally black aside from the vibrant green stripes.
While the Nitrocharge colorways have been extremely visible for the most part, this subtler edition of the shoe should please some of its on field supporters including Steven Gerrard and Xabi Alonso, two players who are known for their affinity and love of black cleats.
The adidas Predator LZ is arguably the most visible and loud of the new batch of colorways with its hot pink Lethal Zones. Having released primarily overbearing colorways until now, adidas has decided to take a step back with the Predator LZ by layering it in a black upper with white stripes. In typical adidas fashion though, the LZ still is noticeable as it features a couple of bright pink Lethal Zones that really stand out on the black background.
The bright pink Samba Pack colorway of the Predator LZ has dominated pitches around the globe for the past month, and it will be interesting to see if players like Mezut Ozil and Aaron Ramsey stick with the radiant colorway or if they switch into this new more understated version of the shoe.
