Adidas continue to keep things mainstream with the adiPure range and this offering brings a simple yet personalized look. Think of how these boots would look on the feet of a Manchester United, Liverpool or even Athletico Madrid player – a pretty complimentary look. It is just a pity that the adiPure 11Pro is not more widely seen amongst players of the top teams. Either way, I am a fan and still think the colorway would look sharp with the Doxa Italia Black and White kit!
Model:A synthetic Taurus leather is used on the front, with a synthetic saddle employed through the 3 stripes on the midfoot for added support. We are familiar with seeing K-leather used on the adiPure series, but with the recent upgrades to their Taurus calf-skin upper, Adidas has changed its direction. I have pointed out on several occasions that Taurus leather has a downfall; durability. Well, Adidas has actually addressed that area and added an ultra thin layer of protection, called Duracoat, to areas of high abrasion. Well played Adidas! Check our full review of the adiPure 11Pro for more details on this.
On this version of the SprintFrame, you get a new Flexzone (improves flexibility and enhances lateral movement) and PlusFlex (outsole is split below the toes for higher energy efficiency through movements), with miCoach performance tracking technology also included.
This could be one of the shock features of the boot. Adidas has re-engineered its traction by introducing dual cushioning conical studs that feature internal anti-shock tubes. They are designed to be more abrasion resistant, while improving surface penetration ¨C improving traction and speed.
We want to hear what you have to say about this colorway.
Are you a fan of this colorway or do you prefer a more classic look, like the recently released Black/Vivid Yellow colorway?
Class boot, Santi Cazorla has been wearing this colorway for awhile now (PapaSmurf)
Rubbish boot. Adipure needs to go back to a full K-leather upper. The leather on this boot is cheap and mixed with synthetic half way. There is also a lack of studs. I would rather wear the Copa. (MichaelC)
