The Nike ¡®Just Do It¡¯ campaign is celebrating its 25-year anniversary and the Oregon based brand¡¯s campaign ¡®Possibilities¡¯ challenges players in all sports to push themselves harder. The video feature Barcelona¡¯s Pique playing the role of provider along with the likes of LeBron James, Serena Williams and other top Nike athletes.
The sequence starts with an everyday player getting his touches in the Nike Hypervenom Phenom on a futsal court before the player¡¯s run takes him into a huge stadium alongside Pique, who provides the perfect feed to set-up a bicycle kick goal.
The ¡®Just Do It¡¯ campaign was developed by advertising legend Dan Wieden in 1988. The three word catchphrase was simple yet powerful much like the swoosh logo. The ¡®Possibilities¡¯ campaign is the first time Nike has used the Just Do It slogan as a promotional hashtag on Twitter.
